Janine Baxter coordinator of the project said “We have carried out a survey of young carers to find out what they want. It takes a great deal of courage for a Young Carer to identify themselves because they fear that if they ask for help their family will be broken up. We found that there was one major demand the children had. They want a childhood. We are going to use the survey to challenge every school, social worker, doctor, in the city to help them enjoy their youth.”

This is a call for artists to help support the young carers charity.
